Welcome to Year 3  (Class 6)

Welcome to year 3

This half term we will be exploring, 'Star in a Jar,' by Sam Hay

We will be focusing on a descriptive narrative. We will be focusing on adjectives and prepositions within descriptions. There will also be a focus on, incorporating our feelings into our writing and using fronted adverbials.

We will also be studying the history of Middlewich and how it has changed over the years. We will be looking at transport and why canals were built.

Important things to know:

School starts at 8.40am and our day finishes at 3.10pm.

PE will be on a Wednesday afternoon.

As well as reading every night, homework will be given out on a Friday and is due in on a Wednesday. For help with your homework click on the 'Homework and homework help' tab or follow this link.

You need to have your PE kit in school every day.
