Despite the festive cheer in the year 6 classrooms, the children have done a wonderful job of using their imaginations to describe grumpy Ebenezer Scrooge and his gloomy office this week, employing language structures from Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. Once they had written their descriptive sentences, they spent time thinking about sequencing their text so that it was a cohesive piece.
