Hearts!

Year 5/6 have been dissecting pig hearts this week after learning about how the heart works. We have found out about the work of Dr Christiaan Barnard who conducted the world's first heart transplant.

The children applied some wonderful technical vocabulary:
"I've found the aorta!"
"Look...here's a ventricle!"

Perhaps we have some future doctors in our midst?
