'Soaked' by Abi Cushman

The children in year 2 listened to a story called 'SOAKED' by Abi Cushman about a bear who got wet in the rain. They were given the task to find the best material to make a coat for bear to keep him dry. They applied their knowledge of properties to test out the different materials. They found that the clingfilm was the best material for a coat for bear because it was waterproof, bendy and soft. Why not have a materials hunt around your house to find different properties of materials!
