Staying Safe
The Staying Safe Group launched a competition in Miss Wagstaff's safeguarding assembly yesterday. The whole school looked at ways to stay safe when we are out and about and the importance of being responsible citizens to keep one another safe, too.
This week is National Road Safety Week. To mark the occasion, the Staying Safe Group has launched a competition. Cledford children are invited to design a poster about an aspect of road safety. They may choose to aim their poster at children with reminders about the importance of crossing roads and cycling safely or they may prefer to design their posters for adults about parking safely and driving slowly past our school.
The deadline for entries is MONDAY 27TH NOVEMBER.
The Staying Safe Group will help to judge the entries and the winning designs will be printed and displayed for everyone to see by the roads around our school. Winners will also receive a small prize as a thank you for their creative efforts.
We can't wait to see your ideas!
