Weaver Hall

Year 6 had a great day at the Weaver Hall Museum on Wednesday. They interviewed a Viking who told them all about his lifestyle, family, beliefs and trading. The children became archaeologists, exploring the items the Vikings buried with their fallen warriors and considering what this might tell us about the status of the deceased. They made their own versions of the famous Lewis chess pieces and also dressed for battle!
