Year 2 had another busy week of learning last week.

In maths we have started a unit of work all about time. Please help your children to learn to tell the time using a traditional analogue clock. They need to be able to read the time to the hour, half hour, quarter to/past and to 5-minute intervals.

In our English lessons, we have started reading a book called 'The Bear and the Piano'. As a class, we researched lots of different types of bears and found out lots of interesting facts... but couldn't find any that really played the piano!

In art, we have been investigating types of pencils and how they can be used to create effects.
