Y6 Chester Zoo
10:15am: Y6 have safely arrived at Chester Zoo and are looking forward to their day despite the wet weather!
3:30pm: The children in year 6 didn't let the rain stop their fun at Chester Zoo yesterday! Our visit linked perfectly to our recent science work on life-cycles and our geography learning about tropical rainforests.
A rare sighting of the baby rhino, a hungry elephant and a close encounter with a cheeky red ruffed lemur were some particular highlights of the day! The children were responsible and respectful, representing our school extremely well. Well done, year 6!
