Y6 - Henri Rousseau

The children in year 6 have been exploring the work of Henri Rousseau. We learnt the main features of Post-Impressionism and found out about the things in nature that most inspired Rousseau. Then, we collected our own leaves to sketch in the Post-Impressionist style before using watercolours to mix different shades of green, brown and orange.
