Year 6 have been busy with their DT lessons this week: designing a new playground. With their designs as a guide, they constructed their playground models using a range of materials such as: wood batons, straws, pipe cleaners, natural resources, lolly sticks and card. They then constructed and joined different items of apparatus using PVA glue, tape, split pins and glue guns. Resilience and patience was in full force! Well done, year 6!
